Over the last couple of years it has become quite apparent that we can not rely on Facebook’s and therefore Instagram’s algorithms to get the message out to our audience. Gone are those days when brands grew their royalty and following on these platforms. Now the majority of your followers are not even seeing your posts!

Social media platforms are changing their algorithms like the seasons and if one day they were to shut down or disappear so will your followers! So much less clutter than social media!

Sending emails is much more personal than posting on social media where your message cannot be personalized and is being sent out to the masses. Sending emails let’s you speak directly to that one person that will receive your message. Overall, email still one of the most powerful marketing tools for business owners. Email allows you to build trust and loyalty with an audience that is interested in you and what you offer and warm them up to purchase from you. This is not to say you should completely ignore social media as you know we are huge fans of social media. But it is to say that if you do not have an email list yet then it’s time to start it now and not just rely on social media!
