Hi, I’m tript!

A child of immigrants from South Asia (Panjab, India specifically), I was born and raised on the west coast of Canada, in the beautiful city of Vancouver, B.C.

I'm a multi-passionate creative, dreamer, educator and entrepreneur.

I have a desire to use my position, knowledge, and passion to elevate and serve other women of colour or of minority.

I have a keen interest in making an impact, changing lives, all whilst nourishing my own soul

I am always ready to learn, gain knowledge, go on the next adventure and meet new people to have meaningful conversations with and as a result finding myself at very interesting junctures in life.

With a Masters Degree in Gender and Development, two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Communication, a volunteer stint in India, to picking up litter in the nearby park as a child, writing to the government representative in elementary school to save the grizzly bears, to growing up in a household with her grandparents and parents who had immigrated from Panjab, India, the land of the five rivers and agriculture, I developed a passion for the women’s rights, entrepreneurship, activism, and the need to help others.

I came out of the womb kicking, screaming and a dreamer. I was a little girl that let her imagination run wild with a paintbrush in her hand and spending most of her time lost in books. As much as my head was in the clouds I also found ways to help and encourage people in a real and meaningful way.

I believe life is a journey and inspiration can hit you at any given time. From travelling to Europe by myself for the first time at the age of 20 to shutting down an intersection in the heart of the city during peak traffic hours during a protest, or from going on an intense two day hike in the Himalayas to being in a U2 music video, I have valued adventure and creativity in informing my life journey nourishing my soul. Everyday I strive for a balance by combining my love for creativity, teaching, travelling and helping those in need.

I Co-founded Buzzing Creatives with my sister and now run it on my own. Buzzing Creatives is a space online with a true sense of community. It is an inclusive space online where women are empowering themselves and we provide them with educational tools and community to grow their business online and build authentic, supportive relationships that allow them to live the lifestyle they desire. Our focus with Buzzing Creatives is to teach creative minds and creative entrepreneurs the power of social media to grow their business.

Along with Buzzing Creatives, I have launched triptjohal.com. This is a place for me to do work of serving others whilst serving my purpose. As a coach and mentor, I want to be a part of your journey where you elevate and empower yourself. Where you embrace your uniqueness and your journey with pride and confidence. Where you let your authentic self shine in your personal and professional life. Whether you are a business owner, have a 9-5, an aspiring entrepreneur, a stay at home mom, a recent graduate or someone who is searching for some clarity and direction in life, I’m here to serve you.

My purpose is to help you overcome all the limiting beliefs that get in the way of truly achieving your potential and blocks your ability to show up as your highest self. As a woman of colour myself, I know the layers and complexities present and I fully aware that these are often In addition to all the other obstacles and limitations that we come across. I know I can help you to create a space where women of colour can help one another—a space where we feel comfortable, where we are not the “other,” where we can just be, where we feel empowered, where we believe in one another, where we don’t let the perceptions of society stop us, where we can heal and make an impact.
